TL;DR

The best-executed patch of the runners-up. My objection is the ingredient list, not the product — it leans on added melatonin, which is the thing many long-term users are trying to get away from.

Right for you if

  • Occasional restless nights
  • People who tolerate melatonin well
  • Travel

Skip it if

  • Long-term nightly use
  • Anyone already tolerant to melatonin
  • Anyone chasing morning clarity

Build quality is genuinely good

The adhesive is the best of the runners-up. It stayed put through a full night without curling, and the tin is a nicer travel object than a foil pouch.

The melatonin problem

Supplying melatonin from outside tells the brain to make less of its own. That's fine for a three-night trip through time zones. It's a poor plan for a nightly habit, and it's exactly why so many people arrive at my clinic having doubled their dose without gaining a minute of sleep.

If you've already been on melatonin for a year or more, this is the least useful direction to move in.

Cost over a month

Tins are small. Priced per night against a 28-patch melatonin-free pouch on sale, the runner-up ends up more expensive over a month while doing less for the underlying cause.
